Ingredients
For Aloo Tikki
- Medium sized boiled potatoes: 2
- Socked flattened rice (Poha): ¾ cup
- Refined flour: 1 cup
- Corn flour: ¾ cup
- Cooked green peas: ¼ cup
- Oil: 2 tsp
- Cumin powder: ½ tsp
- Garlic powder: ½ tsp
- Turmeric: ¼ tsp
- Coriander powder : ½ tsp
- Black pepper: ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Bread crumbs: 1 cup
- Oil for deep frying
For Burger
- Burger buns: 4
- Aloo tikki: 4
- Medium sliced tomatoes: 1
- Medium sliced onion: 1
- Cropino veg mayonnaise: ¼ cup
Step By Step Process
Aloo Tikki Recipe for Aloo Tikki Burger:
- Wash and drain flattened rice in clean water and put it aside.
- Grate the potatoes.
- Take a pan and heat oil on a medium flame.
- Sauté green peas in it for a minute or two.
- Add grated potatoes to the pan and mix it well.
- Add flattened rice and some salt and mix it well with potatoes and green peas.
- Add all spices and mix all ingredients to mash them.
- Turn off the flame and let the mashed ingredients come at room temperature.
- Divide it into equal parts and make aloo tikki depending on the size of the burger bun.
- Cover the bowl with aloo tikki with foil and refrigerate it for an hour.
- Mix all corn flour and plain flour in another bowl. Add some salt and mix them well. Keep pouring water to make a thick batter.
- Get aloo tikki from the fridge and dip them one by one into the batter.
- Roll it into the bread crumbs to coat it on every side of the tikki.
- Repeat these steps for all aloo tikki.
- Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry aloo tikki until they turn golden.
Aloo tikki burger recipe
- Take burger buns and slit them into two pieces.
- Apply Cropino veg mayonnaise on one side of the burger bun.
- Place sliced onions and then tomatoes on the Cropino veg mayonnaise spread over burger buns.
- Place aloo tikki on the burger.
- Cover it with another slice of the bun.
Your aloo tikki burger is ready to eat.
You can also apply Cropino veg mayonnaise on both sides of the burger, it will add more taste to the aloo tikki burger.
