Ingredients
- Cheese slice – 2
- Onion chopped – 1 cup
- Chopped tomatoes – 1 cup
- Chopped carrots – 1 cup
- Chopped cabbage – 1 cup
- Diced bell peppers (assorted) – ½ cup
- Diced Paneer– 1 cup
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Peri Peri masala
- Brown bread – 4
- Red tomato ginger garlic chutney
- Green coriander chutney
- CROPINO Thousand Island dressing
- Salt to taste
Recipe to Make Grilled Brown Bread Sandwich
- Take a glass bowl and combine all the cut vegetables together.
(1 sandwich requires 3 tablespoons of each.)
- Add the diced paneer to the glass bowl with all the vegetables.
- Add 3 tablespoons of CROPINO Thousand Island dressing and mix well till all the vegetables and paneer completely blend with it.
- After mixing, keep the bowl aside.
- Take two slices of brown bread and spread butter.
- Apply the green chutney using a spoon or spatula and spread it evenly on the bread slices.
- Take the stuffing and spread it on one of the bread slices.
- Place the cheese slice on top of the stuffing.
- Sprinkle some peri peri masala and black pepper powder on top of the cheese slice.
- Place the other buttered bread slice on top and press slightly.
- Lift the sandwich and apply some butter on top.
- Place it in a grill sandwich machine.
- After about 5 minutes, the sandwich would have become grilled (slightly brown in colour).
- Remove the sandwich and slice it into triangles, rectangles, or even small squares.
- Serve with chutney of red tomato, ginger, and garlic.
- You can also add some grated cheddar cheese on top.
