Ingredients
- Bread slices
- Cabbage (finely chopped) – 1/4 cup
- Capsicum (finely chopped) – 1/4 cup
- Onion (finely chopped) – 1/4 cup
- Carrots (grated) – ½ cup
- CROPINO Veg Mayonnaise – 1 cup
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala /Amchur powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- Take a deep mixing bowl and combine finely chopped cabbage, capsicum, and onion.
- Add 4–5 tbsp of fresh veg mayonnaise to the bowl with chopped vegetables.
- Add black pepper powder, chaat masala or Amchur powder and salt to taste.
- You can also add oregano and red chilli flakes to it.
- Mix all the ingredients well to make the stuffing of the veg. mayo sandwich.
- Once the veg mayonnaise stuffing is ready, keep it aside.
- Place two bread slices on a clean surface.
- With a bread knife, apply 1/2 tsp of butter over each bread slice.
- Now spread a large spoon of stuffing evenly on one bread slice.
- Place the second slice of bread on top to make the veg mayonnaise sandwich
Now You Have Two Options.
Option 1: Serve the cold, non-toasted sandwich with tomato ketchup, chilli sauce and green chutney.
Option 2: You can grill or toast the sandwich and serve it hot.
