Ingredients
- 11/2 cup spaghetti pasta
- 1 teaspoon corn flour
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ cup CROPINO Tomato Ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil (extra virgin)
- 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes (optional)
- ½ cup finely chopped onions
- ½ cup thinly sliced carrot
- ½ cup finely chopped capsicum (bell pepper)
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon cheese (grated)
- ½ cup of milk
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation the Spaghetti Pasta
- Add spaghetti pasta to a large vessel filled with water and a bit of salt.
- Cook over a medium flame.
- Stir occasionally to prevent the spaghetti pasta from sticking to the vessel.
- Cook the pasta until soft. (Avoid overcooking the pasta.)
- Once cooked, remove the boiled pasta, strain it, and keep it aside.
Preparation the Milk Mix
- Take 1 tsp of corn flour in a bowl.
- Add some water and milk to the bowl.
- Stir to prepare a white liquid slurry. Keep aside.
Mixing Ingredients to Prepare the CROPINO Tomato Ketchup Spaghetti Pasta
- In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the finely chopped onions and garlic. Sauté them well until they become tender.
- Add carrots and capsicum. Cook them until they become soft.
- Once cooked, add the CROPINO tomato ketchup, dried oregano, red chilli flakes, salt, pepper, and sugar. Mix well.
- Add some water and let the mixture boil briskly for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the milk mix prepared earlier. Mix well. Sauté until the mixture thickens.
- Add the cooked spaghetti pasta and stir on high heat until well combined with the CROPINO tomato ketchup.
- If the pasta appears to be too thick, you can add a little water to maintain the consistency.
- Add grated cheese while the pasta is still cooking.
- Once cooked perfectly, transfer the spaghetti pasta to a serving bowl.
- Garnish the spaghetti pasta with a pinch of dried oregano and a basil leaf.
